15 Gauge Sandy Nitrile Palm Coated Nylon Work Gloves

These sandy-finish nitrile-coated gloves feature a nylon liner and a textured surface, providing reliable grip in wet or slippery conditions while offering excellent oil resistance and anti-slip properties. Compared to smooth nitrile gloves, the sandy finish helps reduce the risk of dropped or slipping parts. We offer OEM/ODM customization services. These gloves are suitable for use in dry, wet, lightly oily, and greasy working conditions. We are a professional manufacturer of sandy-finish nitrile-coated gloves.

Work gloves should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated, and cool environment, away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. The ideal storage temperature is typically between **10°C–25°C**. Excessively high temperatures can cause the rubber, nitrile, or coating to age, become sticky, or crack, thereby reducing protective performance.

When measuring glove sizes, first use a soft tape measure to measure palm circumference at the widest point (excluding the thumb), then measure hand length from the base of the middle finger to the fingertip. Refer to the size chart based on these two measurements to select sizes such as S, M, L, or XL. If the palm circumference and finger length correspond to different sizes, generally prioritize the palm circumference and choose a tighter or roomier fit based on personal preference.

FAQ

How does a sandy nitrile coating enhance friction and oil grip performance?

The surface of a sandy nitrile coating features a coarse, granular texture that increases contact area and friction. When encountering oil, the gaps within this texture help disperse the oil film—reducing slippage—thereby allowing the gloves to maintain a stable grip in wet or lightly oily environments.

Palm-coated styles are not completely waterproof; however, 3/4-coated or fully dipped styles offer superior protection against liquid splashes and provide better coverage against oil.

Palm Coated: Covers only the palm and the inner surfaces of the fingers; offers the best breathability and is suitable for assembly, handling tasks, and dry environments.

3/4 Coated: Covers the palm, fingers, and a portion of the back of the hand; provides enhanced resistance to oil and dirt, making it suitable for wet or lightly oily environments.

Fully Coated: Provides full-hand coverage; offers the strongest resistance to liquids and dirt, making it ideal for tasks involving heavy oil exposure, cleaning, and maintenance.

Nitrile coatings offer superior resistance to oil, abrasion, and punctures. They are well-suited for applications such as mechanical repair, automotive assembly, and handling oily parts, performing reliably in environments involving light oil or slippery conditions. Latex coatings, on the other hand, offer greater elasticity and stronger grip—making them particularly effective in dry or wet environments—though their oil resistance is weaker, and their performance may degrade upon contact with grease or oils. If your work frequently involves contact with oil, lubricants, or mechanical components, a nitrile coating is recommended; however, if your priority is elasticity and general slip resistance, a latex coating would be a suitable choice.
