What to Confirm Before Sample Approval
Use the sample and RFQ stage to lock the exact configuration rather than ordering only by the product-family name.
- Liner and gauge: State whether the liner uses Kevlar with steel wire, fiberglass, or both, and select 7G, 10G, or 13G according to the required balance of structure and finger control.
- Coating: Specify natural or synthetic rubber latex, palm-and-fingertip coverage, and a textured or crinkle finish. Test grip with the actual dry or wet material used on the job.
- Protection report: Request the ANSI/ISEA 105 and EN 388 report for the same liner, gauge, coating, size range, and production construction being approved.
- Fit and workmanship: Check finger length, cuff fit, coating consistency, liner exposure, seams, and repeated hand movement on the sample.
- Task limits: Record edge type, force, contact frequency, contamination, and any heat, chemical, puncture, or impact hazard that requires a different glove or additional testing.
